Mame Biram Diouf is a Senegalese striker who made nine appearances for Manchester United between 2010 and 2011.
Diouf was born in Dakar in Senegal in 1987. He began his professional career locally with the Senegal Premier League club, Diaraf. When he was nineteen he moved from Diaraf to Moulde in Norway, where he played for three seasons. He signed for Manchester United in July 2009, with the agreement that he remain at Moulde until the end of the Norway season in December. After moving to Manchester at the beginning of 2010, he made six substitute appearances in the 2009-2010 season, scoring his first goal in just his second game. Diouf then spent the whole of the 2010-2011 season on loan at Blackburn Rovers, where he played for the first team on a number of occasions. He returned to Manchester for the 2011-2012 season but, after making only three further senior appearances, was sold during the January transfer window to Hanover 96.
Diouf has played internationally for Senegal at both u-20 and senior level.
