Brazilian twin brothers Fabio and Rafael were first spotted in 2005 at a youth tournament in Hong Kong. They were signed by Manchester United, moved to Manchester in early 2008, and became eligible to play for the club in July 2008 after their eighteenth birthdays. Brother Rafael made his first appearance in the opening game of the 2008-2009 season, but Fabio suffered a shoulder injury pre-season and wasn’t fit enough to start until January 2009. He made his debut in an FA Cup fourth round tie against Tottenham Hotspur.
Fabio is an attacking full-back, who can play on the left or the right..
